Day 4 (May 19) - Cruise to Poros-Hydra-Aegina Islands

Day cruise from Athens to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina for a relaxing day on the sea. With a buffet lunch, you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely day cruise with free time on each island to explore. From the port you’ll set sail for the island of Poros, where you’ll have free time for strolling and shopping.

Next, it’s on to the island of Hydra. You will have about 1 hour and 30 minutes of leisure to enjoy the unique charms of Hydra island, whose amphitheatre once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island, where old traditional stone houses and mansions silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history.

Upon arrival in Egina (Aegina) you can either join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (cost not included) or take a walk around the main town. Aegina is one of the Saronic islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf. The lovely island is only 31 miles from Athens and is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months.

Day 5 (May 20) - Fly to Santorini Island - Catamaran Cruise w/Dinner

Fly to Santorini Island. Accommodations Tzekos Villas* (2 nights)

Sunset Luxury Sailing Catamaran Cruise with BBQ, drinks. (3:15 pm)

After pickup at your hotel, travel by minivan to the Vlychada port and climb aboard a luxury catamaran—among the largest sailing vessels available on the island.

Cruise around the coast, stopping first for a swim session on Santorini’s distinctive Red Beach.

Continue on to the White Beach, where you can swim, relax on the sand, or explore the clear waters of the Aegean with provided snorkeling equipment.

Back on board, sate your appetite with a fresh Greek barbecue featuring your choice of meat or a vegetarian option served with a variety of traditional side dishes and desserts. Top off the feast with unlimited drinks from the bar including local white wine, beer, water, soft drinks, coffee, or tea.

Relax on spacious decks and catch some of the last rays of the sun while admiring views of the Akrotiri Minoan ruins and the neighboring island of Aspronisi.

Head toward the dramatic caldera that forms the center of Santorini’s ancient volcano, and stop for a relaxing soak in natural volcanic hot springs.

With your muscles nice and relaxed, journey to the final stop, just below the clifftop village of Oia. From this famous vantage point, watch an unforgettable sunset with a cool drink in hand and the Aegean breeze against your skin.

Tzekos Villas is located in the town of Fira, capital & meeting point of Santorini. The hotel is built amphitheatrically on the edge of the renowned Caldera & offers unlimited panoramic views of the volcanic islands surrounding Santorini & the deep blue of the Aegean sea.

Our Swimming Pool, one of the biggest on the Caldera, perches at the cliff edge, offering moments of refreshing relaxation.

Day 7 (May 22) - Fly to Athens

Day 8 (May 23) - Olive Mill - Cooking Class - Castle of Androusa

 

Travel to the Kalamata region of Greece. Visit an olive mill, cook traditional Greek dishes using olive oil. Visit the Castle of Androusa and the town of Kalamata, Greece.

  • Cook local Greek recipes together with our local cook such as traditional pies, tzatziki, fresh salads etc.
  • Tasting of different types of cheese, varieties of olive oil and local products highlighting the ingredients of the local cuisine.
  • Explore Androusa’s Castle and get to know the perennial olive trees and the olive varieties of the area.
  • Visit to the traditional and modern olive mills and demonstration of how extra virgin olive oil is extracted in the past and nowadays.
  • Olive oil tasting of different varieties and food pairing with local flavors.

Day 9 (May 24) - Railbiking in Megara

Take a short bus ride to Magara, Greece. Get ready for a thrilling adventure in the beautiful countryside of Megara as you embark on an unforgettable railbiking tour. Experience the thrill of cycling on specially designed bikes along old railway tracks, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and natural wonders.

As you pedal through the countryside, you’ll be transported back in time as you pass historic landmarks and witness the beauty of Megara’s natural landscape. With the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, you’ll feel invigorated as you explore the area from a unique perspective.
